Invisalign – Invisible Braces

Invisalign is popular orthodontic alternative to braces. It involves a series of clear plastic trays that work by incrementally pushing your teeth into position. More complex movements are aided by tooth colored attachments that are bonded to the teeth. These attachments blend in with your teeth and are virtually unnoticeable! Each tray is worn for 2-3 weeks for a minimum of 20 hours per day and are removed for eating, brushing and drinking anything other than water.

Not only is Invisalign an esthetic option for the cosmetically conscious, but also allows for better hygiene. Teens and adults alike can easily remove trays to clean their teeth as normal. Because brushing and flossing are not affected with Invisalign, there is less risk for the development of gingivitis or other sequelae associated with less than ideal oral hygiene.
