Dr. Tim Pierce DMD, MS
Dr. Timothy Pierce, “Dr. Tim” was born in Philadelphia during his father’s orthodontic training and has lived in the Lowcountry for over forty years. He graduated from Porter-Gaud in 1990 and from Furman University in 1994, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dental Medicine in 1998. After graduation, Dr. Tim returned to Philadelphia to complete specialist’s training and received his Certificate in Orthodontics from Temple University in 2000.
While at Temple University, he also received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology in the subject of investigative cellular research. Dr. Tim has a specialty license in South Carolina and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the South Carolina Orthodontic Association and the Charleston Dental Society.
Dr. Tim taught part-time for several years at the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine, Department of Orthodontics, where he was an associate professor. He and his wife, Dr. Daphne Pierce, reside on the Isle of Palms with their two children.
Dr. Tim was honored to be awarded Best Orthodontist in Mt. Pleasant by Mount Pleasant Magazine.

Scout Pierce is the doggiest member of out orthodontic team. He specializes in bringing smiles to our patients and loves being part of out team. His favorite hobbies are playing fetch, sleeping and meeting our patients. Stop by anytime to get a little love from our sweet Scout!
